Brazil 25 - Australia 9

That is the number of fouls that were called for Brazil when they played Australia.

Very one sided and if you saw the match you would think that Australia were hacking players and there would have been numerous red cards handed out etc.

But the fact is the game was not spiteful at all. It was hard fought between 2 competitive teams but there was no malice in the match. The only point was at the start when Vince Grella tackled Ronaldo quite badly and you could see some stud marks on his calf. That should have warranted a yellow card but nothing happened.

The referee was inconsistent. A lot of the fouls he called were soft and if a Brazilian player made a tackle just as hard it was "play on!".

I also have to note that the second goal scored by Fred should have been called offside. I believe he was in an offside position when it was struck so when he ran in for the tap in he was offside!

It was frustrating because Australia took the game to Brazil and limited the times they could do their samba. They should have at least left the match with a point!

If ifs and ands we're pots and pans, mate... :)

England suck. and Crouch really is proof that they're clutching at the straws. I have no meat with Liverpool - in fact, I am envious of Carra, Gerrard, Alonso and some of the others - but Crouch is rubbish mate.

Poor taste, Mr D... I'm sure you can do better.

Yes, if the beanpole was playing for a team like Charlton or Fulham, will he still be selected for the England team? I don't think so!! He's a load of bollocks.

The only player I like from Liverpool is GERRARD.
